haha well, it is the best option as it will last a lot longer than if it was cut in card. But you're right.. it's such a pain in the ass to do that i don't bother. You can get spray adhessive from places like riot art and craft and spotlight. some places actually have it behind the counter though and you have to show your id to get it, which is just ridiculous. The big green can..is the one i like to use.. not sure of the brand. But even that doesnt stick to canvas all that well So i usually just take it real slow spraying it and put down a bunch of nuts and bolts to weigh down the stencil as you spray. good luck! :D

oh how exciting! well i just print the image and then glue it on to some cardstock.. is that what its called? like the stuff you use in primary school to make poster assignments.. It's light so its easy to cut through..but much sturdier than paper. Another thing i'd have to add is invest in a can of spray adhessive. It's something i didnt think was really important when i first started cutting out stencils..but it really does make a huge difference! And last but not least..spray paint. I'd go to butter beats in the city..ironlak is probably best brand for starting out becuase its thick and dries fast. plus its cheap!! the spray paint they are selling at hardware stores is just nasty. i'd stay away from it.. mitre 10 sells ironlak..but i dont know if its the same up in the city as down on the coast...they will charge you almost twice as much as butter beats will and treat you like a criminal for buying it. Ha! Anyway i'm sorry if this is just a bunch of useless information you already know. I hope it helps a bit! good luck! i'd love to see the end result
